Nikola Tesla MR Control is a companion control application designed for an educational mixed reality experience in which users interact with Nikola Tesla and learn about his inventions.
The application is intended for mentors, educators, and other authorized users who supervise and communicate with participants using a compatible Meta Quest 3 device running the associated mixed reality application.
The iOS device and Meta Quest 3 device communicate over the same local network. The application can discover compatible devices, connect to them, display the participant's current view, enable audio communication, transmit guidance from the iOS device, and provide basic controls for the active experience.
This application does not collect personal data from its users for advertising, profiling, or marketing purposes. However, certain device permissions and local network access are required to provide the application's functionality.
These permissions are used solely to provide the application's core functionality. Camera and microphone data are used during active communication and guidance sessions and are not used for advertising or user profiling.
Local network access is used to identify compatible devices and establish communication between the iOS application and the associated Meta Quest 3 application.
When connected to a compatible device, the application can display the camera view received from the Meta Quest 3 device, allowing the person supervising the experience to see what the participant is seeing.
If the user activates the "Prijenos uputa" feature, the camera and microphone of the iOS device may be used to transmit visual and audio guidance to the connected Meta Quest 3 device over the local network.
The microphone can be muted or unmuted by the user at any time during an active communication session.
The application does not use camera or microphone content for advertising, analytics, or profiling purposes.
Communication required for the mixed reality experience takes place between the compatible devices on the local network. The application does not intentionally upload camera or microphone content to external servers as part of its core functionality.
We do not sell personal information or share personal information with third parties for advertising purposes.
We take reasonable measures to protect the communication and information used by the application. Access to the camera, microphone, and local network is requested only when required for the application's intended functionality and remains subject to the privacy and permission controls provided by iOS.
Full functionality of the application requires a compatible Meta Quest 3 device running the associated mixed reality application. Use of Meta Quest hardware may also be subject to the privacy policies and terms provided by Meta Platforms, Inc.
